Description
The Vetro is a glass pendant light with a wide, domed shade 35cm across, hung from a slim white cord beneath a neat conical ceiling rose, and it measures 110cm tall overall. The shade pairs white satin glass with clear brilliant glass: fine etched lines run down from the crown, each finishing in a clear droplet bead, with more beads set close to the rim. The body is white plastic. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W, which is not included, and it carries an IP20 rating, so it belongs indoors in a dry room.
Hung over a dining table or kitchen table, or in a hallway, the dome directs light downwards, while the satin glass softens the glow and the clear beads catch it and sparkle. At 35cm across, it is a comfortable size for a smaller dining table, a landing or a bedroom, giving a proper centre light without crowding the ceiling. The white finish sits quietly against pale walls and adds a little interest to a plain room, and since you choose the bulb, you can pick a warmer or cooler tone to suit the space. It is a good choice for anyone who wants a classic glass pendant with a touch of detail rather than a bare, plain shade.
There is no switch on the light itself: it is controlled from your wall switch. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and it weighs 1.44KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. When you order, add an E27 bulb of 60W or less, since one is not supplied.
