The Vestige is an 89 x 63cm rectangle wall mirror set in an oak-effect wood frame with a visible grain texture and warm mid-brown tone. The frame measures approximately 70mm wide on all four sides with a 2cm overall depth, giving a low-profile presence against the wall while providing enough visual weight to anchor the mirror in larger rooms.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dressing areas where full-length or above-waist reflection is needed, the Vestige hangs vertically on D-rings or horizontal keyhole fittings behind the frame. The 89cm height allows a person of average height to see from head to mid-thigh when hung at typical eye level, making it functional as a dressing mirror in a bedroom or a checking mirror in a hallway. Yes. The Vestige can be hung in either orientation depending on the space and the reflection angle you need. Hallways and bedrooms typically use vertical orientation, while horizontal hanging works above sideboards or in wider wall sections.

What fixings are needed to hang it?

The mirror has D-rings or keyhole fittings on the back of the frame. Use two wall plugs and screws rated for the mirror's weight (7-10kg in most cases), spaced to match the fixing positions. On plasterboard walls a cavity anchor or toggle bolt is recommended rather than standard plugs.

Is the frame solid oak or oak-effect?

The frame is wood composite finished to replicate the grain and colour of oak, rather than solid oak. This reduces weight and cost while maintaining the natural wood appearance that pairs well with Scandi and farmhouse interiors.

How is the mirror glass cleaned?

Use a standard glass cleaner or a solution of distilled water and white vinegar on a microfibre cloth. Spray onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass to avoid solution running behind the frame edge. Wipe the wood frame separately with a dry or barely-damp cloth to avoid moisture damage to the finish.
