The Verona is a 400mm flush ceiling light with an integrated 40W LED panel, a grey metal ring frame, and a remote control that adjusts both brightness and colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight. The LED panel sits 65mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with low ceilings or where a semi-recessed profile is preferred over a pendant or chandelier.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and open-plan kitchens where ambient lighting is needed without a protruding fitting, the Verona delivers 5400lm across a 140° beam angle, distributing light evenly across a room of 12-16m². The tuneable white capability shifts the light from warm relaxed tones for evening use to cooler daylight tones for task visibility during the day. The remote control stores settings and allows stepless dimming from 5% to 100% brightness.

The grey metal ring frames the diffuser panel and adds a subtle industrial accent that pairs with concrete, exposed brick, natural timber and matt-painted interiors. The ring is powder-coated in a mid-tone grey that sits between charcoal and light grey, providing enough contrast to define the ceiling fixture without dominating the space. The diffuser itself is a frosted acrylic panel that softens the LED array behind it, preventing glare and hotspots.

The fixture mounts directly to a ceiling rose using a back plate concealed by the metal ring. Installation requires mains wiring to the LED driver housed inside the fitting. The 40W power consumption is equivalent to approximately 200-250W from a halogen ceiling light, with the integrated LED rated for 25,000 hours of use before noticeable degradation. The remote control operates on RF rather than infrared, so line-of-sight is not required and the signal passes through furniture and walls within the rated range.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

The Verona does not carry an IP rating and is not certified for bathroom use, particularly in zones 1 and 2 where moisture exposure is regular. It can be used in a bathroom outside the defined zones if ventilation is adequate, but is better suited to dry rooms.

Does the remote control come with the light?

Yes. The remote control is included with the fitting and operates on RF rather than infrared, so it does not require line-of-sight. The remote allows stepless dimming and colour temperature adjustment from 2700K to 5000K.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 65mm projection from the ceiling makes the Verona one of the lower-profile ambient ceiling lights in the Mantra range, suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above where a pendant would feel too close.

Can I adjust colour temperature without the remote?

No. The colour temperature and dimming functions are controlled exclusively via the remote control. There is no manual override or wall-switch dimmer compatibility for CCT adjustment.
