Verona 40W CCT Dimmable LED Flush Ceiling Light - Gold With Remote Control

The Verona is a 400mm diameter flush LED ceiling light with a circular gold metal frame surrounding a central diffuser panel. An integrated 40W LED provides 5400 lumens of output with a tuneable colour temperature from warm 2700K through to cool daylight 5000K, controlled via the included remote. The flush profile projects just 65mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas where general ambient lighting is needed, the Verona covers typical UK room sizes of 12-18m² effectively. The 140° beam angle distributes light evenly across the ceiling and walls, reducing harsh shadows. The remote control allows brightness dimming and colour temperature adjustment without requiring wall dimmer switches, meaning the light can shift from warm 2700K for evening relaxation to cooler 4000-5000K for daytime tasks.

The gold metal ring provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass cabinet hardware, warm timber furniture and neutral interiors. The finish is a satin-tone gold rather than high-polish, softening reflections under daylight. The combined weight of 0.76kg and flush mounting make this suitable for standard plasterboard ceilings with a standard ceiling rose and electrical backplate.

The LED is non-replaceable and integrated into the fitting, rated for 40W consumption on 220-240V mains. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering the LED driver and internal components. The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included) and operates via infrared line-of-sight to the ceiling fitting.

Can the colour temperature be changed?

Yes. The integrated LED is tuneable from warm 2700K through to cool daylight 5000K using the included remote control. This allows the light to be adjusted from warm ambient evening lighting to cooler task lighting for daytime without changing bulbs.

Is a wall dimmer switch required?

No. The Verona is controlled entirely via the included infrared remote, which handles both dimming and colour temperature adjustment. A standard on/off wall switch is sufficient for installation.

The 5400lm output and 400mm diameter make the Verona suitable for rooms of approximately 12-18m², equivalent to a typical UK living room, bedroom or dining room. Larger open-plan spaces may benefit from two fittings spaced appropriately.

What ceiling height clearance is needed?

The fitting projects 65mm from the ceiling surface, making it suitable for standard ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. The flush profile works well in rooms where a drop pendant would feel too low or intrusive.
