Description

This is a rectangular cushion woven with the Union Jack flag, and at its centre a heraldic lion crest: two rampant lions flanking a shield, a crown above, and a scrolled banner reading Pride, Honesty, Honor. The front is a jacquard cotton, meaning the pattern is woven into the cloth rather than printed onto it, so the reds, navy and gold are threads in their own right and hold their depth as the light moves across them. It is made from 100% cotton throughout, and the crest is picked out with embroidered detail that catches the eye up close.

At 65 x 45cm it is a generous lumbar shape, longer than it is tall, which is what you want along the back of a sofa or set against the plumper square cushions on a bed.
