Description

The Tree is an 8-light chandelier built around a matt black branching frame, with eight smoked-grey glass globes set at varied angles along organic, asymmetric arms. Each globe holds an E27 lamp socket (bulbs sold separately), with the visible filament reading clearly through the tinted glass. A short central drop rod connects the frame to a compact circular ceiling plate.

At 180cm across and 46cm deep, the fitting is designed for long dining tables, kitchen islands of 2m or more, and open-plan living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m and above. The off-axis arrangement of the arms means the light reads differently from each side of the room, working well in spaces viewed from multiple angles rather than a single dining-table sightline.

The frame is finished in a low-sheen matt black that holds its line against both pale and dark ceilings, while the smoked glass softens glare from exposed filament bulbs and gives the globes visual weight when the lamps are switched off. Pairing the fitting with vintage-style E27 GLS filament bulbs emphasises the sculptural, branching profile; clear globe LEDs work equally well for a cleaner contemporary read.

What bulbs does it take?

The Tree takes eight E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. The smoked glass globes are designed to suit decorative E27 GLS filament bulbs, which echo the visible-filament look the fixture is built around. Standard E27 LED globes also fit if a cooler or brighter output is preferred.

What size room does it suit?

With a 180cm spread, the Tree suits dining tables of around 200cm or longer, kitchen islands of 2m or more, and open-plan living rooms. A minimum ceiling height of 2.5m is recommended so the 46cm-deep frame sits clear of head height above seated diners.

Is the frame rigid or adjustable?

The branching arms are set in fixed positions on the central frame, giving the asymmetric profile shown. The fitting installs as a single piece from the central ceiling plate rather than being reshaped on site.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends entirely on the bulbs fitted. Pairing the eight E27 sockets with dimmable filament or dimmable LED bulbs allows the fitting to run on a compatible mains dimmer; non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch used.
