Description

The Tree is a six-light branching chandelier with a gold metal frame and six amber-tinted glass globes, each housing an E27 bulb (sold separately). The angular branch structure spreads asymmetrically from a central drop rod, positioning the six shades at staggered heights and angles rather than on a single horizontal plane. The amber glass softens the bulb output and casts a warm tone across the surrounding space.

Sized for larger rooms, the chandelier spans 168cm at its widest point and stands 42cm tall, making it suited to long dining tables, kitchen islands of 1.8m or more, and open-plan living rooms with ceiling heights from 2.7m upwards. The drop rod fixes to a circular gold ceiling plate and the branching arms project the globes outwards to fill the space horizontally rather than hanging as a vertical cluster.

Each glass globe has an irregular, hand-formed silhouette with subtle dimples and variation in the amber tint, so the six shades are not perfectly identical. The gold metalwork uses a warm satin finish across the rod, branches and shade collars, and pairs with both contemporary and industrial-leaning interiors. Total fitting weight and the wide span mean a solid ceiling fixing point is needed.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier uses six E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. E27 GLS filament bulbs work well with the amber glass, as the visible filament adds warmth that complements the tinted shades. LED filament E27 bulbs in 2200K-2700K give a similar look with lower energy use.

What size room does it suit?

At 168cm wide and 42cm tall, the Tree is sized for larger rooms. It works best over dining tables of 1.8m or longer, kitchen islands, and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights from 2.7m upwards. It is too wide for most standard hallways or compact dining areas.

Is the drop adjustable?

The fitting hangs from a fixed gold drop rod connecting the ceiling plate to the central branching joint. The rod is not telescopic, so the overall drop is set by the rod length supplied. For lower ceilings the rod can be shortened on installation by a qualified electrician.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmability depends on the E27 bulbs fitted. With dimmable LED filament bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the chandelier can be dimmed. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch used.
