Description

The Tree is a 5-light branching chandelier built around a matt black metal frame that splits from a central drop into five asymmetric arms. Each arm terminates in a smoked grey glass globe with an irregular, hand-blown profile, housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The fitting measures 150cm wide by 42cm high, giving it a horizontal sculptural footprint rather than a traditional vertical chandelier silhouette.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells and open-plan living spaces, the Tree works well over long rectangular tables where its asymmetric arm spread provides even task light across the surface. The 150cm width suits tables of 180cm or longer; below that the fixture risks overhanging the table edge. The single ceiling rose makes installation straightforward despite the wide light spread, since only one fixing point is required.

The smoked glass globes diffuse the bulbs to a soft grey-amber when lit, reducing glare from filament E27 bulbs while still letting the bulb shape read through the glass. The matt black metalwork is finished to a low-sheen powder coat that pairs cleanly with industrial, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors. Each glass globe varies subtly in shape and tint as a feature of the hand-blown forming process.

What bulbs does the Tree take?

The fitting takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. E27 GLS filament bulbs suit the smoked glass globes well, since the visible filament reads through the tinted glass for a warm decorative effect. LED filament bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K give a comfortable warm-white output without the heat of incandescent.

What size table does it suit?

At 150cm wide, the Tree suits dining tables of 180cm or longer so the outer globes sit safely within the table footprint. Over a kitchen island or peninsula, allow at least 30cm clearance from each end of the surface.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting is 42cm tall from canopy to lowest globe. Allow at least 2.4m ceiling height to maintain 70-80cm clearance above a dining table. The drop rod can typically be shortened on installation if the ceiling is lower; check the installation instructions before fitting.

Are the glass globes identical?
