Description

The Knightsbridge TRKIT8ABK is a 1m track lighting kit supplied with three adjustable GU10 spotlights mounted on a black aluminium track. Each spotlight head rotates 350° around the track axis and tilts 80° from vertical, allowing light to be directed at walls, counters, artwork or shelving as needed. The track accepts standard 230V mains supply via a live end connector and terminates with a dead end cap.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, retail displays and galleries where directed task or accent lighting is needed without installing multiple individual ceiling fittings, the kit provides three independently adjustable light sources from a single ceiling mounting point. The 1m track length suits standard kitchen island widths, worktop runs and display wall sections. The track can be surface-mounted directly to plasterboard, timber joists or concrete ceilings using the fixing points integrated into the aluminium extrusion.

Each spotlight accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen, warm white, cool white or daylight temperature depending on the application. The black aluminium construction provides a matt finish that absorbs reflections under daylight and pairs cleanly with industrial, contemporary and minimalist interiors. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments including kitchens, living rooms and offices, but not bathrooms or outdoor installations.

What bulbs does the kit take?

Each spotlight accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit LED GU10 bulbs between 4-7W and 2700K-3000K for ambient accent lighting, or 4000K-5000K daylight temperature for task lighting over worktops.

Can the spotlights be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each spotlight head rotates 350° around the track and tilts 80° from vertical, allowing light direction to be changed as needed without tools. The heads slide along the track to reposition spacing between the three lights.

Is the kit dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs fitted. If you install dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the kit will dim. Non-dimmable bulbs or incompatible dimmers will not dim.

What's the ceiling projection?

The track itself sits approximately 56mm deep when surface-mounted. Each spotlight head projects an additional 180mm from the track when angled downward, giving a total ceiling-to-bulb distance of around 240mm when the heads point straight down.
