Description

The Knightsbridge Track Connector joins two sections of single-circuit track in a satin nickel finish, maintaining both electrical continuity and a clean visual line along the track run. The connector can be used to extend a track system by joining separate lengths together or positioned mid-run to act as a central power feed point, reducing cable runs from ceiling roses in larger installations.

Designed for commercial retail lighting, galleries, exhibition spaces and residential track lighting systems, the connector fits Knightsbridge TRKSPxx track rails and is wired for 230V 50Hz mains. The polycarbonate body houses copper contact elements that transfer power between track sections without requiring external wiring at the join. The 181mm length allows enough space for secure mounting and connection to each track section, while the 18mm projection keeps the connector profile low against the ceiling.

The satin nickel finish provides a neutral metallic tone that pairs with brushed stainless, aluminium and grey track heads without the high reflectivity of polished chrome. The Class I rating and IP20 classification mean the connector is suitable for dry indoor environments only. Each connector is supplied with fixing hardware for flush mounting to the track rail.

Frequently Asked

What track systems is this connector compatible with?

The connector is designed for Knightsbridge TRKSPxx single-circuit track systems. It will not fit three-circuit or other manufacturer track rails without adapter components.

Can it be used as a power feed point?

Yes. The connector can join two track sections together or be positioned mid-run to act as a central power feed, allowing mains cable to enter the track system at a point other than the end feed.

What is the maximum load rating?

The connector itself does not limit load — it transfers the full rated capacity of the track rail. Check the track system specification for maximum combined wattage of all fittings on the circuit.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is for dry indoor use only and offers no protection against moisture or dust ingress.
