Tosca 6 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Antique Brass

The Tosca is a 450mm flush ceiling light with six G9 bulb fittings arranged behind a ring of vertical crystal prisms, framed by an antique brass circular backplate and a frosted glass rim. The crystal prisms refract light across the ceiling and down into the room, while the frosted glass rim diffuses the direct glare from the bulbs. A single crystal droplet hangs from the centre beneath the fixture.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a semi-flush or pendant would hang too low, the Tosca provides ambient and decorative lighting in hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms. The 180mm projection from the ceiling keeps the fitting clear of door swings and circulation routes. The six G9 bulbs (sold separately) allow for flexible light output depending on whether halogen or LED capsule bulbs are used.

The antique brass finish has a warm gold tone with subtle tarnish patina, giving the metal a lived-in quality that pairs with both traditional and transitional interior schemes. The crystal prisms are precision-cut with flat facets that catch and redirect light into spectral highlights on surrounding walls. The frosted glass ring sits between the brass frame and the crystal, giving the fitting a layered appearance when viewed from below and preventing the bulbs from being directly visible.

What bulbs does it need?

The Tosca takes six G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2W and 5W, giving a combined output of 12W to 30W depending on desired brightness.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided dimmable G9 bulbs are fitted and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer is installed. Halogen G9 bulbs dim smoothly on most dimmers. LED G9 bulbs require dimmer compatibility checking — not all LED capsules dim reliably.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 180mm projection makes the Tosca suitable for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m. Below 2.3m the fitting may feel visually heavy; above 2.7m a semi-flush or pendant may give better proportions.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe the crystal prisms with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or getting water inside the lamp sockets.
