Description
The TOMIV2 is a GU10 LED spotlight bulb that throws a directional cool white beam from a compact PAR16 form. It draws just 6.5W yet delivers 650 lumens at an efficiency of 100 lm/W, standing in for an old 61W halogen of the same shape. The 4000K colour temperature reads as a crisp, neutral cool white, and the wide 100 degree beam spreads the light more evenly than a tight halogen spot. The GU10 cap is the familiar twist-lock fitting that runs straight off the mains at 220 to 240V AC, so no separate transformer or driver is needed (unlike a low-voltage GU5.3 / MR16 spot, which does require one). In US terms a GU10 bulb of this kind is the common twist-and-lock mains spotlight.
The wide 100 degree spread suits ceiling spot arrays, recessed downlight fittings and track heads in kitchens, living spaces, hallways and retail displays, where the cool 4000K tone keeps surfaces and worktops looking clean and well defined. Several bulbs across a run light a room or wash a wall more smoothly than a narrow beam would, while a single bulb works well over a worktop, shelf or picture. Being an IP20 bulb it is for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor location; suitability for those areas comes from the rated fitting, not the bulb itself.
The TOMIV2 measures Ø50 by 56mm and weighs 22g, sitting flush in standard GU10 holders. Colour rendering is Ra 80, giving accurate enough colour for general and display lighting, and the rated lifespan is 25,000 hours. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off circuit rather than a dimmer. The finish is white with the cool white 4000K output. The wider GU10 range from Kanlux includes other wattages and colour temperatures in the same PAR16 shape if you need to match across a scheme.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It has a GU10 cap, the standard twist-lock mains spotlight fitting. You push it in and turn a quarter to lock, with no transformer required. It runs directly off the mains at 220 to 240V AC.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws only 6.5W but produces 650 lumens, which replaces an old 61W halogen GU10 spot of the same PAR16 shape. You get a near-identical light output for a fraction of the energy. The rated lifespan is 25,000 hours.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, the TOMIV2 is non-dimmable. Use it on a standard on/off circuit rather than a dimmer switch, as fitting it to a dimmer can cause flicker or buzzing. If you need dimming, choose a bulb listed as dimmable.
What is the beam angle and colour?
It has a wide 100 degree beam, broader than a typical narrow halogen spot, so it spreads light more evenly across a room or surface. The colour temperature is 4000K cool white, a crisp neutral tone, with Ra 80 colour rendering.
