Description
The TOMIV2 is a directional GU10 LED spotlight bulb that twist-locks straight into a mains GU10 holder, so no transformer or separate driver is needed. It draws only 2.9 W while replacing an old 28 W bulb, giving 240 lumens of crisp 6500K daylight light. The PAR16 spot format throws a fairly wide 100 degree beam, so the cone of light spreads across a useful area rather than pinning a tight pool on the floor. American buyers shopping for a PAR16 reflector or bi-pin mains spot will recognise the same fitting here.
The wide 100 degree spread and clean daylight tone suit kitchens, hallways, home offices and retail or display areas where you want bright, neutral light that shows colours and detail honestly. Run several in a recessed downlight track or a multi-spot fitting to wash a worktop, shelving run or corridor evenly. Because it is rated IP20, this bulb is for dry indoor positions only and should be kept out of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location. The Ra 80 colour rendering keeps surfaces and finishes looking natural under the beam.
Built to the standard Ø50 x 56 mm GU10 envelope, the bulb weighs just 18 g and runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains. It is rated for 25,000 hours of use and reaches 102 lm/W efficiency, so it stays economical over a long service life. The bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard non-dimming circuit rather than a dimmer switch. The casing is finished in white with a daylight 6500K output. The wider TOMIV2 range covers other wattages and beam options on the same GU10 cap.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It uses a GU10 cap, the twist-lock mains spotlight fitting, so it pushes in and twists a quarter turn to lock. It runs directly on 220 to 240 V mains, so unlike a GU5.3 or MR16 bulb it does not need a transformer or separate driver.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws just 2.9 W but produces 240 lumens, enough to replace a 28 W halogen or incandescent spotlight. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the running cost, and it is rated for 25,000 hours of use.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, the TOMIV2 is non-dimmable, so it should be used on a standard switched circuit. Fitting it on a dimmer can cause flicker or buzzing, so pair it with a normal non-dimming switch instead.
What colour and beam angle does it give?
It produces a 6500K daylight tone, a crisp neutral-white light that suits kitchens, offices and display areas. The 100 degree beam angle gives a wide spread rather than a tight spot, with Ra 80 colour rendering for natural-looking surfaces.
