Description
The TOMIV2 is a GU10 LED spotlight bulb that gives a directional pool of warm white light from a compact PAR16 body. It draws just 2.9W yet replaces a 28W old halogen spot, putting out around 240 lumens at 3000K with a 100 degree beam angle for a broad, even spread rather than a tight pencil of light. The GU10 cap is a mains-voltage twist-lock fitting, so it runs straight from a 220 to 240V supply with no transformer or driver to add, unlike the low-voltage GU5.3 MR16 type it should not be confused with.
Use it in standard mains GU10 spot fittings indoors, where its wide 100 degree beam suits ceiling spot tracks, recessed downlight housings and accent fittings over a kitchen worktop, hallway or living area. The warm white 3000K tone gives a soft, homely light that works well for general and accent use, and the broad beam helps wash a surface evenly rather than spotlighting a single point. It is rated for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp position.
Built as a PAR16 spot in a white finish, the bulb measures just 50mm across and 56mm long and weighs only 18g, dropping neatly into any standard GU10 holder. Colour rendering is Ra 80 for natural-looking colour, efficiency is around 102 lm/W and the rated life is 25,000 hours. This is a non-dimmable bulb, so pair it with a standard non-dimmed circuit. We stock matching GU10 spotlights across the range in other outputs and tones.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It has a GU10 cap, the standard twist-lock mains spotlight base. Push it in and give a quarter turn to lock. As a mains-voltage GU10 it needs no transformer or driver, unlike a low-voltage GU5.3 MR16 spot.
What wattage does it replace?
The bulb itself draws only 2.9W but produces around 240 lumens, comparable to a 28W old halogen spot. You get a similar level of light for a fraction of the energy use.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, the TOMIV2 is a non-dimmable bulb. It should be used on a standard, non-dimmed lighting circuit, as fitting it to a dimmer can cause flicker or shorten its life.
What beam angle and colour does it give?
It has a wide 100 degree beam, broader than a typical narrow spot, so it spreads light evenly across a surface. The tone is warm white at 3000K with Ra 80 colour rendering for a soft, natural look.
