Description
The TOMIV2 is a GU10 LED spotlight bulb in the familiar PAR16 spot shape, giving directional light from a low 1.2 W draw. American buyers will know this twist-lock GU10 mains cap as a bi-pin spotlight, and it runs straight off the 220 to 240 V AC mains with no transformer needed. It puts out 105 lumens at 3000K warm white, a soft, homely tone rather than a crisp daylight, and the 100 degree beam is wide for a spotlight, spreading light across a broader pool than a tight 36 degree narrow-spot. Colour rendering sits at Ra 80, so colours and finishes read naturally under it.
Its low output and warm tone suit accent and fill duties rather than being a single main light. Think a cluster in a kitchen ceiling track, a downlight over a hallway run, or a few spaced across a living room ceiling to wash a wall or pick out a shelf. The wide 100 degree spread means each bulb covers more than a narrow spot, so fewer are needed for even coverage across a given ceiling. Because it is a directional spot, coverage is best judged by where the beam lands rather than by a floor area, so aim and space them by the surfaces you want lit.
Built in the compact PAR16 format, the bulb measures just Ø50 by 56 mm and weighs 18 g, dropping into any standard GU10 fitting. It draws 1.2 W to replace a 15 W old halogen spot, with a rated 100 lm/W efficiency and a 25,000 hour lifespan. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a plain on/off switch rather than a dimmer. The finish is a neat white body, and the IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor fittings only. The TOMIV2 sits within our wider GU10 bulb range alongside other wattage and beam options.

Frequently Asked
What fitting do I need for this bulb?
It has a GU10 twist-lock cap, the standard mains spotlight fitting. You push it into the holder and give it a short twist to lock. No transformer or driver is required as it runs directly off the 220 to 240 V mains.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws only 1.2 W but gives light equivalent to a 15 W old halogen spot, producing 105 lumens. The saving comes from its 100 lm/W efficiency, so you get the same task while using a fraction of the power.
Is this a warm or cool light, and can it be dimmed?
It is 3000K warm white, a soft cosy tone that suits living spaces and hallways rather than crisp task areas. This bulb is non-dimmable, so use it on a standard on/off switch and avoid pairing it with a dimmer.
What is the beam angle and how long does it last?
The beam is a wide 100 degrees, broader than a typical narrow spotlight, so it spreads light across a larger area. It is rated for around 25,000 hours of use, meaning many years in a typical home before replacement.
