Description

The Tiriolo is a round LED flush ceiling light in white & silver, 38cm across and just 6cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling. A white outer disc holds a smaller white ring set off centre, and that ring overlaps a round silver insert with a fine crackle pattern, which gives the plain white form a point of interest. The light comes from an integrated LED of 14W, giving 1,800 lumens at 4000K, a crisp neutral white. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Because it is so shallow, we find the Tiriolo works well under lower ceilings, where a pendant would hang too low and crowd the room. It suits a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a home office, and the white finish blends quietly into a pale ceiling while the silver crackle insert stops it looking like a basic utility light. At 1,800 lumens, one fitting gives a generous main light, and the neutral white is kind to reading, working and getting ready in the morning. As it is not dimmable, it is best where you want steady, even light rather than a low evening glow.

The body is steel and plastic, finished in white with silver detailing. Steel is a rigid metal that holds its shape well. The LEDs are integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, and because it is not dimmable it belongs on a standard wall switch, not a dimmer. It runs on 220-240V mains, carries energy class E and weighs 1.742KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download.
