Description
The Knightsbridge TENAX 10-20W CCT self-test emergency LED gear tray combines adjustable wattage (10W, 15W, 20W), adjustable colour temperature (3000K, 4000K, 5700K), a microwave motion sensor, and a 3-hour self-test emergency function on a single 235mm square aluminium PCB. The tray clips into TENAX One and TENAX Quad casings via four butterfly clips and connects through push-fit terminals with loop-in-loop-out capability.
Designed for commercial, public sector and hospitality installations where a single gear tray stock can cover multiple lighting scenarios, the adjustable settings remove the need to hold separate SKUs for different wattage or CCT requirements. The self-test emergency function runs automatic battery and lamp tests to BS EN 62034 and BS 5266, logging results on the control gear without requiring manual testing. The microwave sensor has adjustable detection area, lux threshold and hold time, allowing the tray to be configured for corridor, WC, store room or office applications after installation.
The LiFePO4 lithium battery provides 3-hour emergency runtime at 125 lumens in maintained, non-maintained or switched emergency modes. The tray operates at 230V 50Hz mains and is rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use. The SMD LED array delivers between 1,360 and 2,630 lumens depending on the wattage and CCT setting chosen, with efficacy ranging from 141-151 lm/W and a CRI above 85. The constant-current driver is non-dimmable and the L70B50 rating is 40,000 hours. The aluminium construction allows heat dissipation across the full PCB surface.
The casing for this gear tray is sold separately — search for TENAX One or TENAX Quad casings at Niori to find compatible housings.

Frequently Asked
How do I adjust the wattage and colour temperature?
The gear tray has switches or DIP settings on the PCB (see the product datasheet for exact configuration). Set the wattage to 10W, 15W or 20W and the CCT to 3000K, 4000K or 5700K before fitting the tray into the casing. Once the casing is closed, the settings cannot be changed without removing the gear tray.
What casings is this compatible with?
This tray fits Knightsbridge TENAX One and TENAX Quad casings. The casing must be purchased separately — this product is the gear tray only.
What does self-test emergency mean?
The self-test function runs automatic battery and lamp tests to BS EN 62034 and BS 5266 standards. The control gear logs the test results internally, removing the need for manual monthly and annual testing. A status indicator on the tray shows pass or fail.
How do I configure the microwave sensor?
The sensor has adjustable detection area, lux threshold (daylight cut-off) and hold time (how long the light stays on after detecting motion). These are adjusted via potentiometers or switches on the gear tray before installation. Refer to the product datasheet for the adjustment method and range for each setting.
