Description

The Tabitha is a 400mm square flush ceiling light combining a frosted glass panel, a cluster of faceted crystal spheres and a polished chrome frame. Four E14 bulbs sit behind the frosted glass (bulbs sold separately), casting diffused light through the panel while the central cluster of clear crystal spheres adds decorative sparkle and refraction. The chrome frame sits flush to the ceiling with a 160mm total drop, making it suited to rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, landing areas and compact living rooms where a traditional pendant would hang too low, the Tabitha provides ambient light without visual bulk. The 400mm footprint works in rooms from 3m × 3m upwards, though it can also be used in pairs down a corridor or over bedside positions in larger master bedrooms. The flush mount fixes directly to a ceiling rose with no chain or rod assembly required.

The frosted glass panel diffuses the light evenly across the ceiling plane, reducing glare and hotspots, while the faceted crystal spheres beneath the central aperture catch and split the light into small prismatic reflections on surrounding surfaces. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient daylight during the day and integrates with chrome door furniture, radiator valves and tap fittings common in modern and transitional interiors. At 3.3kg the fitting requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or appropriate toggle fixings in plasterboard.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The chrome and crystal will respond to dimming by reducing the intensity of reflections and refractions.

How is the glass panel secured?

The frosted glass panel is held in place by chrome studs that screw into the metal frame. The panel can be removed for bulb changes by unscrewing these studs, then replaced after maintenance.
