Description

The Symphonia Small is an 80cm-diameter chandelier built from cascading brass chains finished in satin nickel, suspended from a circular metal structure that conceals ten replaceable 4.5W 3000K LED modules. The chains fall in layered tiers from the upper canopy to a tapered base, catching and reflecting the warm LED light through fine metallic strands rather than diffusing it through glass or fabric.

This compact size suits dining rooms, entryways, hotel bars and reception spaces where the chandelier needs sculptural presence without the scale of a full-size fixture. The 78cm overall height and 150cm cable drop give flexibility on installation, working in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.6m upwards. Mounted over a dining table the chain veil sits at eye level when seated, drawing the eye up through the strands to the LED source above.

The fixture weighs 40kg, so a structural ceiling fixing rated for the load is essential. Each chain is individually attached at the canopy, meaning small adjustments can be made on installation to even out the silhouette or correct any travel-related displacement. The satin nickel finish has a softer reflectivity than polished chrome, pairing with both cooler contemporary palettes and warmer transitional schemes without dominating the colour balance of the room.

Are the LED modules replaceable?

Yes. The ten 4.5W 3000K LED modules are built in but replaceable, meaning the fixture does not need to be discarded at the end of an LED's service life. Replacement modules can be ordered through Niori when needed.

What ceiling height is required?

The chandelier measures 78cm in height with a 150cm maximum cable drop, giving a total possible drop of around 2.3m from ceiling to base. It works best in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards. The cable can be shortened on installation for lower ceilings.

How is the 40kg weight supported?

A structural ceiling fixing rated for the full 40kg load is essential. For most installations this means fixing into a joist or using a suitably rated cavity anchor system, and we recommend installation by a qualified electrician.

How is the chain veil cleaned?

Dust gently using a soft microfibre cloth or a feather duster, working from the top down. Avoid liquid cleaners or sprays directly on the chains, as moisture can dull the satin nickel finish over time.
