Description
The Stratiform is a 136cm-diameter twin-tier chandelier built from densely draped fine metal chains suspended on a polished nickel-finish frame. Two pointed elliptical tiers sit at offset angles, with a smaller spiral cascade falling beneath, and twenty replaceable 2.1W 3000K LED modules sit within the structure to backlight the chain veils. The fitting drops 103cm overall and weighs 36kg, hung on a 150cm cable from a single ceiling point.
Designed for double-height spaces, the Stratiform suits stairwell voids, atriums, gallery landings and large open-plan halls where the full sculptural profile can be read from multiple angles. The 136cm horizontal span needs an open ceiling area of at least 1.6m clear in each direction, and the 103cm vertical height means it works best with floor-to-ceiling heights of 4m or more so the lowest spiral element clears head height by a comfortable margin.
Each tier is formed by hundreds of individual chain strands hung from the polished perimeter rings, creating a fine-grain texture that catches light along its length and softens the otherwise hard geometry of the pointed frame. The nickel tone is cooler than chrome and reads as a soft silver against marble, concrete, pale timber and mid-grey interiors. At 36kg the Stratiform requires a structural ceiling fixing point, not a standard plasterboard rose.
The twenty LED modules are positioned to graze light down the chain veils rather than spotlight the room below, producing a diffused glow with sparkle points where light catches individual chain links. Modules are replaceable rather than integrated permanently, so the fitting can be serviced over its lifetime without replacing the chandelier.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height does the Stratiform need?
The chandelier itself is 103cm tall and hangs from a 150cm cable, so the lowest point sits roughly 2.5m below the ceiling at full drop. For comfortable head clearance over a walkway or staircase landing, a floor-to-ceiling height of 4m or more is recommended. The cable can be shortened on installation to suit specific drops.
Are the LED modules replaceable?
Yes. The fitting uses 20 built-in but replaceable LED modules at 2.1W and 3000K each. They can be swapped individually rather than requiring the whole fitting to be replaced once a module reaches end of life.
What ceiling fixing does it require?
At 36kg, the Stratiform must be hung from a structural fixing point capable of supporting its full weight plus a safety margin. A standard plasterboard ceiling rose is not suitable. Installation by a qualified electrician with access to a joist or dedicated structural anchor is required.
What colour does the nickel finish read as?
The nickel sits cooler than polished chrome and warmer than brushed steel, reading as a soft silver in most lighting conditions. It pairs with marble, pale concrete, mid to light timbers and grey-toned interiors without picking up the strong yellow cast of brass or the high-contrast mirror reflection of chrome.
