Description
The STONO is a garden spike light built around an E27 lamp holder, taking a GLS, CFL or LED lamp up to 20W on a 220-240V AC supply. Rather than a fixed light source it lets you choose the bulb to suit the look you want, from a soft warm glow to a brighter wash. Known across the US as a landscape spike light or pathway light, it sits on a single spike that pushes straight into soft ground.
Use it through planted beds, borders and along garden paths, where the spike lets you reposition the fitting as planting grows or the layout changes. With a maximum 20W output and an E27 holder, it works best as accent and pathway marking rather than broad area lighting, picking out a shrub, a path edge or a feature near the house. Coverage depends on the lamp you fit, so think of it as a pool of light around the spike and a gentle throw onto nearby planting rather than a measured floor area. Set several along a route for even guidance underfoot.
The body is moulded ABS in a granite finish that blends into beds and stonework, measuring Ø490 by 460mm and weighing 3.02kg. An IP65 rating means it is sealed against dust and water jets, so it copes with exposed outdoor positions and wet weather year round. The fitting mounts on its ground spike, staked into soil or a border, with no wall or recessed fixing involved. Lamp choice and dimming depend on the E27 bulb you select.

Frequently Asked
Is it suitable for outdoor and wet locations?
Yes. The STONO carries an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and water jets and copes with exposed positions and wet weather. It is designed to stay outdoors in beds, borders and along paths year round.
How does it mount in the garden?
It sits on a single ground spike that pushes straight into soft soil or a planted border. There is no wall, ceiling or recessed fixing, which means you can lift and reposition it as planting grows or the layout changes.
Does it run on mains or a transformer?
It runs directly from a 220-240V AC mains supply, so no separate low-voltage transformer is needed. It should be wired by a qualified electrician using suitable outdoor-rated connections.
Is a bulb included?
No bulb is supplied. The fitting takes a standard E27 lamp up to 20W and accepts GLS, CFL or LED types, so you can choose the brightness, colour temperature and dimmable behaviour to suit the spot.
