Stono Ø320 20W E27 Garden Spike Light IP65 - Granite

The Stono is a round garden spike light that takes a single E27 bulb up to 20W, running on a standard 220 to 240V AC mains supply. It pushes light upward and outward from a ground-level position, so it sits in the planting and works as a landscape spike light to graze a wall, fence or shrub rather than wash a whole area evenly. Because the bulb is your choice of GLS, CFL or LED, the brightness and tone are set by what you fit, which makes it easy to dial in a soft warm glow or a brighter accent.

Staked into soil, a gravel bed or the edge of a border, the Stono suits driveways, garden paths and planting beds where a fixed wall fitting would not reach. Its coverage is directional rather than ambient, throwing a pool of light up against whatever it is angled towards, so position it close to the feature you want to pick out for the strongest effect. With a 315mm round body it has enough presence to stay stable in loose ground, and several can be spaced along a pathway to mark a route after dark.

Built from ABS with a granite finish, the Stono carries an IP65 rating, so it stands up to rain and exposed outdoor positions without needing shelter. The supplied spike drives into soft ground by hand, and the fitting is wired into a mains supply rather than a low-voltage transformer. The E27 lampholder accepts a wide choice of bulbs, so dimming depends on the lamp you select. The wider Stono range includes further outdoor and ground fittings if you are lighting a larger scheme.

Can it be used outdoors in wet weather?

Yes. The Stono is rated IP65, which means it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for fully exposed outdoor positions such as open borders, paths and driveways.

Is a bulb included?

No bulb is supplied. The fitting takes a standard E27 screw cap and accepts GLS, CFL or LED lamps up to a maximum of 20W, so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature that suits the setting.

How is it installed?

It is staked into the ground on its integral spike, pushed into soil, a gravel bed or the edge of a planting border by hand. It runs from a 220 to 240V AC mains supply, so connection should be made by a qualified electrician using suitable outdoor-rated cabling.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the granite ABS body with a soft damp cloth to remove soil splashes and garden debris, then dry it off. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, and switch off the supply before cleaning around the lampholder.
