Description

The Schuller Stone Small is a 40cm flush-mount ceiling light combining a multicoloured slate disc with an integrated LED ring that delivers 1080 lumens at 56W. The slate diffuser sits within a matt black metal frame, surrounded by an opal acrylic ring that distributes light from the integrated LEDs. The colour temperature adjusts between 3000K warm white and 6000K cool daylight via the supplied remote, and a memory function retains your last setting between uses.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m where a standard pendant would hang too low, the 9cm profile fits hallways, bathrooms, kitchens and smaller bedrooms without intruding into headroom. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas. The slate diffuser shows natural veining and tonal variation across browns, greys and ochres, giving the fitting a warmer appearance under 3000K output and a cooler, greyer tone under 6000K.

The matt black metal frame measures 40cm diameter and weighs 2.9kg once fitted, requiring a ceiling joist or solid ceiling surface capable of supporting the load. Mounting hardware is included. The CCT control adjusts between 3000K warm white and 6000K cool daylight using the supplied remote. The memory function stores your last brightness and temperature setting, so it returns to the same output when switched on again.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 9cm profile makes the Stone Small suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would reduce headroom. It works in hallways, bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms with standard UK ceiling heights.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits the Stone Small to dry indoor areas only. It cannot be installed within bathroom zones requiring IP44 or higher protection from moisture and splashes.

Does the slate pattern vary?

Yes. The multicoloured slate diffuser is a natural material with veining and tonal variation across browns, greys and ochres. Each fitting differs slightly in pattern depending on the section of slate used.
