Description

The Stone is a 60cm flush ceiling light built around a multicoloured slate disc encased in an opal acrylic ring, mounted on a matt black metal base. An integrated 95W LED sits behind the dual-layer diffuser, casting 1,354 lumens through the translucent slate and acrylic to deliver even ambient light across the ceiling plane.

CCT adjustment lets you shift the colour temperature from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white using a wall switch or remote (depending on installation). The memory function holds your last chosen temperature setting, so the light returns to the same tone each time it's switched on. This makes the Stone suitable for rooms where lighting needs change — warm tones for evening relaxation in a living room, cooler tones for daytime focus in a home office or kitchen.

Designed for flush mounting on ceilings with limited height clearance, the fitting projects just 10cm from the ceiling surface and weighs 4.8kg. The slate diffuser shows natural mineral variation in tone and pattern, giving each fitting a slightly different appearance. The matt black metal frame minimises visual presence against dark ceilings and pairs cleanly with contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

How does the CCT adjustment work?

The CCT (correlated colour temperature) adjustment shifts the LED output from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white. Control method depends on installation — some versions use a wall switch toggle sequence, others use a remote control. The memory function retains your last chosen temperature setting between uses.

Is the slate diffuser the same on every fitting?

No. The multicoloured slate disc is cut from natural stone, so mineral veining, tonal variation and pattern differ between individual pieces. This is a characteristic of the natural material, not a defect.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The Stone is designed as a flush ceiling light for rooms with limited height clearance. The 10cm projection from the ceiling makes it suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.3m and above. The 60cm diameter works best in rooms of 12-18m² floor area.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Stone to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any area subject to moisture or steam.
