Description

The Stivi is a round LED bulkhead drawing 36W and putting out 4680 lumens of 4000K neutral white light across a wide 110 degree beam. A built-in PIR sensor brings the fitting up as movement is detected, so it acts as both a utility light and an automatic security light. Buyers in the US will know this style as an outdoor wall pack or outdoor wall sconce, the surface-mounted weatherproof fitting used to cover entrances and external walls. The integrated LED runs at 130 lm/W and is rated for 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to replace over its life.

Its even, wide spread and sensor make it well suited to porches, side passages, garage walls, stairwells, car parks and communal entrances where light should appear only when someone is present. The PIR coverage marks an approach or doorway as people move through it rather than lighting a whole room evenly, so think of it in terms of the area it watches over and the throw across a path or threshold rather than a fixed floor area. It mounts to a wall or a ceiling, which lets it sit above a door, under a soffit or on the underside of a covered walkway as the layout requires.

The body is moulded polycarbonate in a white finish, and the IP65 rating means it is fully weatherproof and fine for exposed outdoor and wet locations, while the IK08 impact rating helps it stand up to knocks in busier passageways. It runs directly from 220-240V AC mains, with no separate transformer to specify, and is not dimmable, which suits the sensor-driven on and off operation. Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is fully weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations as well as sheltered spots. It is equally at home on an external wall, under a soffit or in a damp utility area.

How does the built-in PIR sensor work?

The integrated PIR detects movement within range and switches the fitting on automatically, then off again after a set period of no activity. The detection time and the ambient light threshold are adjustable on the fitting, so you can set it to trigger only after dark and stay on for as long as you need.

Does it take a separate bulb or driver?

No. The Stivi has an integrated LED rated for 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to change. It runs straight from 220-240V AC mains with no external transformer or driver to specify.

How should the fitting be cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and let it cool, then wipe the polycarbonate body and diffuser with a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads or solvents, which can mark the white finish, and make sure it is dry before restoring power.
