Description

The Stivi is a round LED bulkhead with an integrated PIR sensor, drawing 24W to deliver 3120 lumens at a neutral 4000K white. Its 110 degree beam spreads a broad, even wash from the wall or ceiling, and the motion sensor brings the light up automatically when movement is detected. For US buyers this is the form usually sold as an outdoor wall pack or sconce, supplying light to doorways and walkways. Built with an integrated LED rated to 50,000 hours, there is no bulb to replace.

The Stivi suits exposed and sheltered outdoor locations alike, from porches and external doorways to garage walls, side passages and stairwells. The PIR sensor makes it well suited to entrances and approach paths where hands-free, on-demand light is useful. Its throw is wide rather than directional, marking out an area around the fitting rather than focusing a beam, so it works as a security and orientation light close to the point it is mounted. Mounted at a typical wall or eaves height, the broad 110 degree spread covers the immediate threshold and the ground in front of it.

The body is moulded polycarbonate in a white finish, rated IP65 for full weatherproofing against rain and wet conditions, with IK08 impact resistance for knocks. It runs direct from 220 to 240V AC mains and is not dimmable, which is typical for a sensor-controlled fitting of this kind. Is the Stivi suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which makes it fully weatherproof against rain and direct wet conditions, so it can be fitted in exposed outdoor locations as well as sheltered ones. The IK08 rating also gives it useful impact resistance for external walls.

How does the built-in PIR sensor work?

The integrated PIR detects movement nearby and switches the light on automatically, then off again after a set period. This makes it well suited to doorways, paths and garages where you want light only when someone is present, with no manual switching required.

Does it need a separate bulb?

No. The Stivi uses an integrated LED rated to 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. The whole fitting runs direct from 220 to 240V AC mains.

How should the fitting be cleaned?

Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the polycarbonate diffuser with a soft, damp cloth to clear dust, cobwebs and grime that can dull the output outdoors. Avoid solvents or abrasive pads, which can mark the surface.
