Description
The Sonoma is a 110cm glass coffee table built from a single sheet of 12mm curved tempered glass forming both the top surface and continuous side panels, with a white marble-effect MDF shelf positioned midway between the glass top and floor. The curved glass construction creates a waterfall profile where the tabletop flows directly into the side supports without visible joints or fixings.
Designed for sitting rooms, open-plan living areas and reception spaces where visual lightness matters, the transparent glass keeps sightlines open across the room while the lower shelf provides a surface for books, remotes and display objects. The 35cm height positions the glass top at standard coffee table height for use with sofas and low seating, while the 55cm depth allows the table to sit comfortably in front of a two- or three-seat sofa without protruding into walkways.
The white marble-effect finish on the MDF shelf mimics Carrara marble veining and provides tonal contrast against the clear glass without adding visual weight. The shelf sits recessed from the glass edges, so objects placed on it appear to float within the glass frame. At 35.16kg the table has substantial mass that keeps it stable on carpets and hard floors, and the curved glass edges distribute contact forces across a wider surface area than sharp corners would.
The Sonoma is part of Schuller's Spanish-manufactured furniture collection and ships flat-packed for home assembly. The glass surfaces are treated with a protective film during transit and should be wiped with glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth before first use to remove any manufacturing residue.

Frequently Asked
Is the glass tempered?
Yes. The Sonoma uses 12mm tempered glass, which is heat-treated to increase strength and shatter-resistance compared to standard annealed glass. If broken, tempered glass fractures into small granular pieces rather than large sharp shards.
How is the marble shelf attached?
The white marble-effect MDF shelf slots into the curved glass structure during assembly. Full assembly instructions are included in the Downloads tab above.
What weight can the glass top hold?
Schuller does not publish a specific load rating for the Sonoma glass top. As a guideline, 12mm tempered glass of this size typically supports typical coffee table loads (books, trays, laptops, decorative objects) without issue. Avoid standing on the table or placing extremely heavy concentrated loads at the edges.
How is the glass cleaned?
Use standard glass cleaner or a solution of distilled water and white vinegar applied with a microfibre cloth. Wipe in circular motions and buff dry to avoid streaking. The marble-effect shelf can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and dried immediately.
