Description

The Solden is a horizontal outdoor LED wall light with an angled white powder-coated aluminium housing that projects 75mm from the wall. The integrated 9W LED sits behind a frosted polycarbonate diffuser, casting 773 lumens of warm 3000K light through a 118° beam angle. The top edge of the housing angles outward to deflect rainwater away from the diffuser panel.

Designed for exterior wall mounting on residential entrances, garage sides, patio walls and garden pathways, the Solden delivers both functional illumination and visual definition at doorways and transitions. The 180mm width and low 90mm height suit standard brick coursing and vertical timber cladding installations. The IP65 rating means the fitting is sealed against dust ingress and protected against water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed positions including coastal environments.

The white finish blends cleanly with rendered facades, UPVC trim and light-painted weatherboard while maintaining visibility during daylight hours. The 118° beam spread produces a wide wash of downward light rather than a narrow spotlight effect, reducing harsh shadows on steps and threshold areas. The non-dimmable 9W LED consumes approximately 78.8kWh per year if run for 24 hours per day, though most outdoor fittings operate on motion sensors or timers that reduce actual consumption significantly.
