Description

The Solaryn is a 1200mm ring chandelier built around a circular brass frame studded with natural Spanish alabaster discs, suspended from a brass canopy on a chain and stem combination. An integrated LED running concealed inside the ring casts warm 3000K light outwards through the alabaster, turning each disc into its own diffuser while leaving the frame itself crisply defined.

Designed for large rooms with a generous ceiling void, the Solaryn suits open-plan living spaces, dining rooms with long tables, stairwell landings and hospitality interiors such as hotel lobbies and restaurant centres. The 800mm overall height includes the chain and stem, both of which can be adjusted on installation. For a dining table, the ring typically sits 750-900mm above the surface, which works comfortably in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or more.

Each alabaster disc is cut from a single block of natural stone, so the mineral veining, opacity and tonal variation differ from disc to disc across the ring. The discs are held to the brass frame by small brass studs that read as deliberate punctuation rather than concealed fixings. A stainless steel substructure inside the ring carries the load, keeping the 1.2m circle true and the disc spacing even. The brass takes a warm, lightly aged tone that pairs with both pale neutrals and richer timber and stone interiors.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Wipe the alabaster discs gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, which can mark the porous stone. The brass frame can be dusted with the same dry cloth; do not use abrasive metal polishes on the lightly aged brass finish.
