Slim LED Flush Ceiling Light 24W 4000K - White

The Mantra Slim is a 370mm flush ceiling light with an integrated 24W LED running at 4000K cool white, delivering 2150 lumens through a white circular diffuser that sits 56mm below the ceiling line. The LED is built into the fitting and runs directly off 230V mains without needing a separate driver or bulb replacement.

Designed for spaces where ceiling height matters — kitchens, hallways, bathrooms (check IP rating), utility rooms and bedrooms in flats or conversions with low ceilings — the Slim provides general ambient lighting without dropping a pendant into the room. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light closer to daylight than the warm 3000K common in living rooms, making it a practical choice for task-heavy areas where colour accuracy and alertness matter.

The 140-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across the ceiling and down into the room, reducing the need for multiple fittings in smaller spaces. A single Slim fitting covers approximately 8-12 square metres depending on ceiling height and reflectance of walls and floor. The white polymer housing weighs 0.57kg and mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or junction box.

The LED is not dimmable. The fitting carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty and the LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 10 years of typical domestic use before noticeable lumen depreciation.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 56mm projection from the ceiling, the Slim sits close to the ceiling line and suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above where a pendant would feel intrusive. It provides general ambient lighting without dropping into headroom.

What's the difference between 4000K and 3000K?

4000K is a neutral cool white closer to daylight, making colours appear more accurately and creating a brighter, more alert atmosphere. 3000K is a warm white with a yellow bias, typically used in living rooms and bedrooms for a relaxed ambiance. This fitting is 4000K, making it better suited to kitchens, bathrooms and workspaces.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours, equivalent to around 10 years of typical domestic use. After this period the fitting would need to be replaced.
