Sisco 4 Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Sisco is a 4-light semi-flush ceiling light built around four curved polished chrome arms radiating from a central circular backplate. Each arm supports an optical prism glass cube shade housing a G9 bulb (supplied with the fitting). The prism glass is cut with geometric facets that refract and scatter light across the room when the bulbs are lit, creating a multi-point sparkle rather than a single beam.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Sisco's 220mm drop allows it to be fitted in standard UK residential spaces without dominating headroom. The 690mm diameter spread positions the four light sources evenly across a dining table, hallway or living room central ceiling position. The semi-flush mount sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a drop rod, making it suitable for low ceilings where a full pendant would hang too low. The four G9 bulbs distribute 160W combined output across the fixture, providing ambient and task light in rooms up to approximately 20m².

The polished chrome finish offers a high-gloss reflective surface that pairs with modern, mid-century and contemporary interiors, particularly those with stainless steel appliances, glass furniture or brushed metal hardware. The clear prism glass shades are open at the base, allowing some downward light throw while the faceted sides scatter the rest laterally and upward onto the ceiling. The fitting weighs 4.5kg and requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or plasterboard anchor rated for the weight. The dimmable rating depends on pairing with dimmable G9 bulbs; the fitting itself supports dimmer circuits.

Are bulbs included with the Sisco?

Yes. The fitting is supplied with four G9 bulbs. These are standard G9 capsule bulbs up to 40W each. Replacement bulbs are widely available from Niori and other UK retailers.

Is the Sisco dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs. The fitting itself is compatible with dimmer switches on the mains circuit. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 220mm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. Below 2.4m the fitting may feel low in circulation areas, though it remains functional. For very high ceilings above 3.5m a full pendant with a longer drop would provide better visual proportion.

How is the prism glass cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply before cleaning. Wipe the glass cubes with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household glass cleaners near the chrome arms as some formulations can leave streaks on polished metal.
