Description

This Knightsbridge single gang coaxial TV outlet provides an isolated female connection for RF aerial or satellite signals behind a white curved edge faceplate. The isolated configuration means the outlet is electrically separate from other TV points on the same distribution system, preventing signal interference between multiple screens and allowing each outlet to receive a direct feed from a splitter or amplifier.

Designed for residential and commercial installation where TV aerial or satellite signals need to be distributed to individual rooms without cross-talk, the outlet fits a standard single gang 25mm minimum back box. The curved edge plate has gently rounded corners and a 7mm projection from the wall once installed, giving a softer profile than sharp-edged faceplates. Screw cap covers are included to hide the fixing screws.

The faceplate is moulded from thermoset resin with tested anti-microbial properties to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for care homes, hospitals and family bathrooms where surface hygiene matters. The white finish pairs with standard white electrical accessories across residential and light commercial settings. Knightsbridge backs the outlet with a 25 year warranty.

Frequently Asked

What does 'isolated' mean for a TV outlet?

An isolated TV outlet is electrically separate from other outlets on the same distribution system. This prevents signal interference between multiple screens and requires each outlet to have a direct cable run from a splitter or amplifier. Non-isolated outlets share a common feed and can cause cross-talk.

What cable connects to this outlet?

The outlet has a female coaxial connection on the front for a standard male coaxial TV plug. Behind the faceplate, a coaxial cable from your aerial, satellite dish or distribution amplifier terminates into the back of the outlet using the screw terminals provided.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. Standard UK single gang back boxes at 25mm or 35mm depth will accommodate the outlet and the cable termination behind it.

Are the screw holes covered?

Yes. The outlet includes screw cap covers that clip over the fixing screws once the faceplate is installed, hiding the screws and giving a cleaner finish.
