Description

The Shepherd is a 330mm outdoor flush ceiling light built around two E27 bulb holders housed within a dual-layer glass construction: an inner opal white diffuser surrounded by an outer clear seeded glass panel set into a dark weathered zinc frame. The composite frame carries an IP44 rating, protecting the electrical components from rain splash and dust ingress when mounted under a porch canopy, veranda ceiling, or covered external doorway.

Designed for covered outdoor positions where ceiling clearance is limited, the 145mm height suits porch ceilings, balcony soffits and external passageways where a pendant would hang too low or risk being knocked. The double-glass construction diffuses the light from the two E27 bulbs through the inner opal layer before it reaches the seeded outer glass, giving a softer spread of light than a single clear-glass lantern. The seeded texture on the outer glass replicates the bubble-distorted look of antique gas lantern panes.

The dark weathered zinc finish on the composite frame shows as a textured charcoal-grey with darker areas where the weathering treatment has collected in the moulded architectural detailing around the glass panels and the stepped canopy.
