Description

A short, wide cylinder in faux silk, finished in ivory pearl with a white laminate lining that keeps the light clean rather than tinted. Ivory pearl reads as a warm off-white rather than a stark one. At 16cm across it is broader than it is tall, so the proportions look compact and settled rather than tall and slim. The fabric has a soft sheen that catches daylight through the day and glows evenly once the lamp behind it is lit. It is one of the compact sizes in the range.

The shade is dual mount, so it will sit on a table lamp or hang as a small pendant, and that flexibility is part of why we keep it in stock. We reach for it on bedside lamps, hall tables and console lamps where a deeper shade would crowd the surface, and in pairs where two matching lamps sit either side of a bed or a sofa. An LED golf ball is the lamp we would choose behind it, and the shade takes up to 20W. Ivory sits quietly against painted and papered walls alike, so it does not fight a scheme already in place.

Faux silk with a laminated white inner face gives a smooth surface and an even colour right around the drum.
