Description

The Seraphic is a chrome floor lamp with two adjustable lamp heads mounted on flexible arms that branch from a central chrome pole. Each head houses an E27 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and can be angled independently to direct light towards different areas of a room. The chrome-plated metal construction gives the lamp a reflective surface that works with the directed light output to brighten desk surfaces, reading positions or accent walls.

Designed as multi-directional task lighting, the Seraphic suits home offices, reading corners next to armchairs, and bedroom bedside positions where two people need individual reading lights without requiring separate table lamps. The 220mm circular base provides stability on bare floors and short-pile rugs, and the inline rocker switch on the cable allows both heads to be controlled together. The IP20 rating limits the lamp to dry indoor rooms only.

The chrome finish is polished rather than brushed, giving a mirror-like surface that reflects ceiling light and daylight back into the room during the day and creates sharp highlights when the lamp heads are switched on in the evening. The twin-head configuration means the lamp can provide both ambient and task lighting depending on how the heads are angled. The E27 fittings accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the rated wattage, allowing choice over colour temperature and brightness to match the room's use.

What bulbs does it take?

The Seraphic takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for reading or task lighting. Check the Specification tab for the maximum wattage rating per bulb.

Can each head be adjusted independently?

Yes. Both lamp heads are mounted on flexible arms that can be angled and positioned independently, allowing one to direct light towards a reading chair while the other highlights a wall or desk surface.

Is the lamp dimmable?

The lamp itself is not dimmable. To achieve dimming you would need to pair dimmable E27 LED bulbs with a compatible plug-in dimmer or smart bulb system, though this configuration is not officially supported by Ideal Lux.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is only suitable for dry indoor rooms with no exposure to moisture, steam or splashing. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.
