Description

The Semporna is an artificial peony on a single long stem. It carries one large open bloom, a half-open bloom and a tight bud, so one stem shows three stages of the flower at once. The petals are a soft beige cream, ruffled and gently creased the way a real peony's are, with a slightly deeper tone at the heart of the open flower. Dark olive leaves branch from a green stem. It is made from plastic and stands 83cm tall and 20cm across, tall enough to rise well clear of the neck of a jug or a large vase.

It is a decor piece, so it belongs indoors: on a hall console, a dining table, a mantelpiece or a bedroom chest of drawers.
