Description

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate accepts a single 25 x 50mm euro module insert behind an 87.5mm square screwless matt white cover plate. The faceplate itself provides the frame and finish, while the euro module insert (sold separately) determines function — HDMI, USB, coaxial TV, RJ45 data, RJ11 telephone, or any other euro-format outlet.

Designed for custom AV installations, home offices and media walls where off-the-shelf combination plates do not offer the exact mix of ports needed, the modular system allows installers and homeowners to build exactly the configuration required. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, giving a clean finish with no visible fixings once installed. The built-in gasket behind the plate reduces dust ingress and provides a flush seal against the wall.

The matt white finish is a low-sheen painted steel that resists fingerprints better than gloss white and integrates cleanly with white or off-white walls in residential, hospitality and commercial settings. At 4.3mm projection from the wall, the faceplate sits nearly flush with plasterboard and provides enough depth to accommodate most euro module types without requiring a deep back box. The 25-year warranty covers the faceplate and sub-frame; euro module inserts carry separate ratings depending on manufacturer.

What euro modules fit this faceplate?

The faceplate accepts any single 25 x 50mm euro module insert, including HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, coaxial TV (IEC female), RJ45 Cat5e/Cat6 data, RJ11 telephone, 3.5mm audio jack, BNC, F-type satellite and blank modules. Inserts are sold separately.

What back box depth is required?

Minimum back box depth depends on the euro module insert used. Most standard euro modules (HDMI, USB, data) require a 25mm minimum back box depth. Deeper modules such as RJ45 keystones with rear cable managers may need 35mm. Check the specification of the euro module insert before installation.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the outlet and re-clipped without needing to disturb the euro module wiring.

Knightsbridge produces modular faceplates in a range of finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass, antique brass, matt black and white. Multi-gang versions (2-gang, 3-gang) are also available for larger installations requiring multiple euro modules in a single plate.
