Description

This is a tall stoneware vase made in the shape of a jug, with a looped handle on one side and a gently pinched lip at the rim. The body swells into a soft oval and narrows again at the foot, standing 31.5cm tall and 15.5cm across, a good height for a sideboard or kitchen counter without towering over it. The beige surface is speckled, the flecks gathering and darkening towards the bottom, so the tone deepens from pale at the rim to richer at the base. Its capacity is 3600ml and it weighs 1.66KG, which gives it a reassuring, grounded feel when you lift it by the handle.
