Description

The Sahara is a 380mm LED wall light built from two twisted polycarbonate diffusers separated by polished chrome spacing bars, with matching chrome mounting plates at top and bottom. An integrated 6W LED inside the frosted white diffusers produces 420 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 120° beam angle, casting soft ambient light with shadowed edges where the chrome bars interrupt the glow.

Designed for hallways, landings, and bedroom accent lighting, the Sahara provides vertical wash light that works well either side of a mirror, flanking artwork, or as a single accent on a feature wall. The 86mm projection from the wall and the vertical twist of the diffusers create a three-dimensional form that changes appearance depending on viewing angle. The non-dimmable LED runs on 100-240V, making it compatible with UK mains without additional drivers.

The polycarbonate diffusers are lighter and more impact-resistant than glass, and the polished chrome finish on the frame matches contemporary tapware and door furniture. At 0.5kg the fitting mounts onto standard wall back boxes or directly onto plaster with appropriate fixings. The chrome and frosted white palette pairs with grey, white, and cool-toned interiors without competing with warmer wood or brass accents elsewhere in the room.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 6W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim the fitting may damage the internal driver.

Can it be fitted in a bathroom?

The Sahara carries no IP rating and is designed for dry interior use only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or outdoor installation.

What's the difference between the chrome bars and the white sections?

The white sections are frosted polycarbonate diffusers that contain and diffuse the LED light source. The chrome bars are solid metal spacers that create shadow lines and give the fitting its twisted sculptural form.

How is it mounted?

The Sahara mounts via the top and bottom chrome plates. It can be fixed directly to plaster with appropriate wall plugs and screws, or onto a recessed wall back box if one is already in place. All mounting hardware is included.
