Sabina 3 Light Flush Ceiling Light - Brown Linen Shade

The Sabina is a 435mm flush ceiling light with a brown linen drum shade wrapped around a frosted white acrylic diffuser, housing three E27 bulb fittings inside. The 105mm projection from the ceiling makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, while the 435mm diameter provides enough coverage for rooms up to 12-15m² without needing multiple fittings.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices where ambient ceiling light is needed without pendant chains or deep projection, the Sabina mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose. The linen shade diffuses light through the weave itself as well as through the frosted diffuser beneath, creating two layers of softening that reduce glare and give a warm, even spread across the ceiling plane. The three E27 fittings accept standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and brightness.

The linen shade is a woven natural fabric in a warm brown tone that sits between camel and sand, with visible texture variation in the weave. The frosted white diffuser beneath is injection-moulded acrylic rather than glass, keeping the 1.2kg weight low enough for plasterboard ceilings without additional bracing. The shade rim is finished with a rolled fabric edge that conceals the metal frame and gives a tailored appearance from below.

Is the Sabina suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 105mm projection from the ceiling makes it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where pendant lights would hang into head clearance. The flush mount design keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane.

What bulbs does it take?

The Sabina takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair it with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for general room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs and dimmer used. Pair dimmable LED bulbs with a compatible LED dimmer to achieve dimming. Not all E27 LED bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb specification before purchasing.

Can the linen shade be cleaned?

The linen shade can be lightly vacuumed using an upholstery brush attachment to remove dust. For marks, gently wipe with a barely-damp microfibre cloth. Do not soak the fabric or use chemical cleaners, as this may discolour or shrink the weave.
