Description

The Ruka is an outdoor LED wall light with an integrated PIR motion sensor, combining an anthracite powder-coated metal frame with a walnut-effect acrylic panel. The integrated 15W LED produces 900 lumens at 3000K warm white through an acrylic diffuser positioned beneath the top hood, projecting light downwards and outwards across the walnut panel at a 110° beam angle.

Designed for exterior walls near doorways, side passages, garden gates and garage entrances, the PIR sensor detects motion within its field and triggers the LED automatically. The sensor can be adjusted for detection range and time duration on installation, allowing the light to stay on for 10 seconds to several minutes depending on preference. The IP54 rating protects the internal components against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions under eaves or soffit-mounted locations.

The walnut-effect panel sits within the anthracite frame as a decorative face, with the PIR sensor lens mounted centrally through the panel. The wood-grain print on the acrylic gives a natural material appearance without the maintenance requirements of real timber. The anthracite finish provides a dark neutral tone that works with brick, render, stone cladding and painted timber exteriors. The compact 182mm x 114mm face plate and 132mm projection suit narrow wall sections where a larger fitting would overwhelm the available space.

The Ruka runs on 100-240V mains voltage, making it compatible with UK and international supply standards without needing a transformer. The non-dimmable LED has a rated lifespan typical of integrated LED outdoor fittings, and the entire unit is backed by a 3-year warranty from Mantra.
