Description

The Royal is a tiered crystal chandelier built around a circular gold-finished metal frame topped with a crown of irregular vertical bars and finished below with a dense ring of cut crystal prisms. Three sizes are available: 60cm diameter with 6 x E14 lamps, 80cm diameter with 8 x E14 lamps, and 100cm diameter with 12 x E14 lamps, each with a fixed 35cm body height and adjustable cable suspension from a matching gold ceiling plate.

The fitting is sized for high-ceiling dining rooms, double-height entrance halls, hotel lobbies and open-plan living rooms where a horizontal pendant works better than a tall multi-tier chandelier. Above a dining table, the 80cm and 100cm sizes typically sit 750-900mm above the surface; in entrance halls and stairwells the cable drop allows the fitting to be hung at the appropriate height for the room. The E14 lamp ring sits inside the crystal tier, casting light downward and outward through the cut prisms.

The upper crown is formed from individual gold-finished metal bars of varying heights, giving the top half of the chandelier an irregular skyline silhouette rather than a smooth band. Below this, the crystal tier hangs as a dense fringe of clear faceted prisms that refract the E14 light into the room. Bulbs are not included, allowing the colour temperature and output to be matched to the setting; warm-white 2700K candle lamps suit the gold finish and crystal refraction best.

Which size suits my room?

The 60cm/6-light works in rooms around 12-16m² with ceilings of 2.6m or higher. The 80cm/8-light suits 18-25m² rooms or dining tables 1.6-2m long. The 100cm/12-light is intended for large dining rooms, double-height halls and lobbies of 25m² or more.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier uses E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs - 6, 8 or 12 depending on size. Bulbs are sold separately. Warm-white 2700K LED candle lamps at 4-6W each pair well with the gold finish and crystal refraction.

Is the suspension height adjustable?

Yes. The chandelier hangs on cables from a gold ceiling plate, and the cables are cut or adjusted to the required drop on installation. The fitting itself has a fixed body height of 35cm across all three sizes.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the E14 bulbs fitted rather than the chandelier itself. Pair with dimmable LED candle lamps and a compatible LED dimmer for variable output, or use standard non-dimmable lamps on a regular switch.
