Description

The Rosa Del Desierto is a 440mm flush ceiling light built around a single R7S-78mm linear halogen bulb (sold separately), enclosed by a dual-layer glass shade and surrounded by an antique brass frame that curves outward in four symmetrical lobes. The frame projects 60mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too far into the space.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and small living rooms, the Rosa Del Desierto provides ambient ceiling light through a frosted inner glass layer that diffuses the R7S bulb's linear filament. The outer glass layer is clear and contoured, adding depth to the shade without blocking light output. The four-lobe antique brass frame creates a decorative pattern on the ceiling when the light is on, with the metal casting subtle shadows between each curved section.

The antique brass finish shows warm golden tones with darker patina in the recesses of the brushed texture, giving the metal a lived-in appearance that suits traditional, Arts and Crafts, and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The 440mm diameter covers most standard UK ceiling roses and provides enough visual presence to anchor a small room without dominating it. The R7S-78mm socket accepts halogen bulbs up to 150W, though a 60-100W halogen or an R7S LED equivalent lowers running costs.

Because the R7S-78mm bulb is sold separately, the fitting can take either a 150W halogen or a lower 60 to 100W option to suit the desired brightness and running cost for the room.
