Description

The Ripley Medium Outdoor Lantern brings a clean, pared-back shape to your exterior walls. It takes its cues from craftsman-style architecture, then strips the detail back to simple lines and a squared-off form. An integrated LED sits within the fixture, giving a warm 3000K glow rated at 800 lumens, and the light is directed downwards to help reduce spill and glare across your garden or path.

This lantern suits modern homes where you want a tidy, understated fitting beside a door, along a driveway or across a rendered or brick facade. Because the light points down rather than out, it works well where you want to light a threshold or step without flooding the whole wall. With an IP44 rating it is built for outdoor positions that see rain and weather, and it is wired for mains voltage at 220-240v, so it should be fitted by a qualified electrician as a Class I fixture with an earth connection.

The body is made from aluminium in a matt black finish, backed by a three year anti-corrosion guarantee to keep it looking right through the seasons. The LED is integrated, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace, and the colour temperature is fixed at a warm white. The fitting is compatible with dimmable control if you want to soften the output. To care for it, wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth now and then, and avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive pads that could mark the finish.
