Description
The REMI is a directional GU10 LED spotlight bulb that twist-locks straight into a standard mains GU10 holder, so it needs no transformer or driver. It draws just 2.2 watts and gives 180 lumens of 4000K cool white light, a crisp neutral tone that keeps detail and colour clear. The PAR11 spot shape spreads its output over a wide 100 degree beam, broad enough to wash a small area rather than pick out a single point. For US buyers this is the bi-pin GU10 mains spotlight, the cool white twist-and-lock lamp used in recessed and track fittings.
The wide 100 degree beam suits ceiling spots, track heads and recessed downlight trims in kitchens, hallways, home offices and retail display, where the spread covers a worktop, shelf or walkway without a tight pool of light. As a single 180 lumen lamp it works best as part of a group of spots sharing the load across a room, or for accent and task light close to the surface it falls on. The cool 4000K tone reads as neutral daylight, which keeps food preparation, reading and display goods looking true. This is an indoor lamp at IP20, so keep it to dry interior fittings and clear of bathrooms, porches and damp spaces, where suitability depends on the fitting it sits in.
The REMI measures Ø35 by 46 mm and weighs only 18 grams, a compact body that drops into the same space as a traditional GU10 halogen. With Ra 80 colour rendering it gives accurate everyday colour, and a rated 15,000 hour lifespan keeps replacement intervals long. The bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer circuit. Running at 91 lm/W on 220 to 240V AC, it is a low-wattage swap for older halogen GU10 spots in a clean white finish.

Frequently Asked
Does this GU10 bulb need a transformer?
No. The GU10 cap is a mains twist-lock fitting that runs directly on 220 to 240V AC, so no transformer or separate driver is required. Only low-voltage caps such as GU5.3 or MR16 need a transformer, which this bulb is not.
How wide is the beam and where does it suit?
The PAR11 spot has a 100 degree beam angle, which is wide for a spotlight and spreads light over a broader area rather than a tight spot. That makes it a good fit for general ceiling spots, track heads and recessed trims over worktops, shelving and walkways.
What does the cool white tone look like?
At 4000K the light is a neutral cool white, close to crisp daylight without being blue. With Ra 80 colour rendering it keeps everyday colours looking accurate, which works well in kitchens, home offices and display areas.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, the REMI GU10 is non-dimmable, so use it on a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer circuit. Pairing a non-dimmable lamp with a dimmer can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life.
