Description

The Ramses is a 75cm diameter chandelier with nine double-cone shades arranged around a central brushed brass frame. Each shade is finished in matt white on the outside and gloss gold on the inside, so the brass tone reads through the open ends when the lamps are lit. Eight arms radiate from the central column with a ninth shade hanging directly below, and every arm carries a hinged brass collar that allows the shade to be tilted on installation.

Sized for dining rooms, open-plan kitchens, stairwells and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Ramses works as both ambient and decorative lighting. Nine E14 golf bulbs (sold separately) give a high combined output suitable for rooms up to around 25 square metres, and the double-cone profile throws light both upward onto the ceiling and downward onto the table or floor below. The 150cm cable allows the drop to be shortened during fitting.

The fitting measures 75cm across by 55cm tall and uses a metal construction throughout, with the brass arms and collars contrasting against the white powder-coated shades. The design draws on mid-century Italian diabolo and Stilnovo references, where paired conical shades and slim brass arms were used to balance industrial materials with decorative form. The white-and-brass palette suits both warm classical interiors and cooler contemporary schemes.
