QTX R80 Reflector Bulb E27 60W - Red

The QTX R80 is a red reflector bulb with an E27 screw fitting, 60W rating and an internal reflector that directs light forward through a red-coated glass dome. The coating filters the light output to a deep red wavelength, producing coloured light rather than white light filtered by an external gel or cover.

Designed for stage lighting, themed environments, party venues and decorative installations where red light is needed without additional filtering, the R80 fits standard domestic lamp holders and runs on 230V mains. How long does the red coating last?

The red coating is baked onto the glass during manufacture and does not fade or peel under normal operating conditions. The bulb lifespan is 750 hours, after which the filament fails, not the coating.

Can this be used outdoors?

The bulb has no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use. If used outdoors it must be housed in a weatherproof fixture rated IP65 or higher to protect the bulb and electrical connections from moisture.
