The QTX Pentaflash is a 5-in-1 LED effect light combining four 6W RGBW par LEDs, a 12W RGBW rotating effect ball, four UV/white strobe LEDs, and a dual-colour laser (150mW red, 50mW green) in a single 190 x 190 x 115mm black housing weighing 850g. The unit runs on 110-240V mains at 60W total power consumption and offers DMX, auto, sound-to-light and master/slave control modes via an infrared remote and onboard controls.

Designed for mobile DJs, small event venues, home parties and pub entertainment, the Pentaflash delivers multiple effects without needing to transport and rig separate fixtures for par wash, strobe, laser and effect ball coverage. The 18-channel DMX mode allows precise control over each effect independently when connected to a lighting desk, while auto and sound-to-light modes run pre-programmed sequences triggered by onboard microphone input. Master/slave mode synchronises multiple Pentaflash units without DMX cabling.

The RGBW par LEDs provide colour wash across a typical small stage or dance floor, the rotating effect ball casts moving coloured beams across walls and ceiling, the strobe/UV LEDs add impact during builds and drops, and the red/green laser projects geometric patterns. All five effects can run simultaneously or be controlled independently via DMX. The unit ships with a mounting bracket for truss or stand mounting, an infrared remote with CR2025 battery, and a power cable.

Can the effects run independently or must they all run together?

In DMX mode with 18-channel control, each effect (par, strobe, UV, laser, effect ball) can be controlled independently. In auto and sound-to-light modes the unit runs pre-programmed sequences that typically combine multiple effects, though the manual may describe programs that isolate individual effects.

Is the laser safe for public events?

The dual-colour laser outputs 150mW red and 50mW green, which exceeds Class 2 limits. The laser must not be pointed directly at audiences or positioned where beams can enter the audience plane at eye level. Consult local regulations for laser use in public venues. Many jurisdictions require notification or licensing for lasers above 5mW.

What's included in the box?

The Pentaflash ships with the main lighting unit, a mounting bracket for truss or stand installation, an infrared remote control with CR2025 battery fitted, and a mains power cable. DMX cables are sold separately if DMX control is required.

Can multiple units be linked without DMX?

Yes. Master/slave mode allows one Pentaflash (the master) to control multiple slave units via the infrared remote or onboard controls, synchronising the light show without needing DMX cabling between fixtures.
