Description

QTX High Quality Fog Fluid is a water-based fog machine fluid supplied in a 1-litre pink-tinted bottle. The fluid is formulated for fog machines rated between 1000W and 5000W, producing dense white fog with a slow dispersion rate and good hang time. The non-toxic formulation conforms to REACH directive EU/2015/830 and leaves no oily residue on surfaces or equipment.

Designed for professional and domestic fog machines in events, theatre, clubs, mobile DJ setups and home entertainment systems, the fluid works with most standard fog machine models from QTX, Chauvet, American DJ, Antari and similar brands. The slow dispersion characteristic means the fog stays in the air longer before dissipating, reducing the frequency of refills during extended use. The high-density output creates effective coverage in larger spaces without requiring continuous machine operation.

The pink colour of the fluid itself is a dye to distinguish the product type and bottle — the fog produced is deep white, not coloured. The 1-litre bottle fits into the fluid tank of most fog machines directly or can be decanted into external tanks on larger units. The water-based formulation is less harsh on machine heating elements than oil-based alternatives and requires no special handling or protective equipment during filling.

Frequently Asked

What fog machines is this compatible with?

The fluid works with fog machines rated 1000-5000W from most manufacturers including QTX, Chauvet, American DJ, Antari and similar brands. Check your fog machine's manual to confirm it uses water-based fluid rather than oil-based formulations.

Why is the fluid pink if the fog is white?

The pink colour is a dye added to the liquid to identify the product type and distinguish it from other fluids. The fog produced is deep white, not coloured. The dye has no effect on fog output or machine performance.

Does it leave residue on floors or equipment?

No. The water-based formulation leaves no oily residue on surfaces, equipment or clothing. This makes post-event cleanup simpler compared to oil-based fog fluids.

How long does the fog last before dispersing?

The slow dispersion rating means the fog hangs in the air longer than standard fluids, but exact hang time depends on room ventilation, temperature, humidity and machine output settings. In typical indoor conditions with minimal air movement, expect several minutes of visible fog before natural dispersion.
