Description

QTX haze fluid is a 5-litre non-toxic formula designed for use in haze machines to produce a medium-density, evenly dispersed white mist. The clear fluid vaporises into a stable atmospheric haze that hangs in the air without settling as quickly as standard fog fluid, creating the suspended particle effect needed to make light beams, laser patterns and moving head effects visible in darkened venues.

Used in stage production, event lighting, clubs, theatres and mobile DJ setups, haze fluid differs from fog fluid by producing a finer, longer-lasting mist that remains airborne for extended periods. The medium dispersion rating means the haze spreads evenly across a stage or dancefloor without creating thick pockets or dead zones. The fluid is compatible with all standard haze machines including oil-based and water-based heater designs.

The formula conforms to REACH directive EU/2015/830 and is classified as non-toxic, making it suitable for indoor use in occupied venues. The fluid leaves no oily residue on floors, mirrors, or lighting equipment after use, and the clear colour means it does not stain fabrics or surfaces. Each 5-litre container provides enough fluid for multiple events depending on machine output and haze density settings.

Frequently Asked

Is this fluid compatible with all haze machines?

Yes. QTX haze fluid is formulated for use with all standard haze machines, including oil-based and water-based heater designs. Check your machine's manual for recommended fluid viscosity if you are using a specialised or vintage model.

How long does the haze effect last?

Haze fluid produces a finer, longer-lasting mist than standard fog fluid. Depending on room size, ventilation and machine output, the haze can remain visible for 20-40 minutes after the machine stops outputting, gradually dissipating rather than dropping to the floor.

Does the fluid leave residue on equipment or floors?

No. This formula leaves no oily residue on floors, lighting equipment, mirrors or fabrics after use. It is designed for repeated use in indoor venues without causing build-up on surfaces.

What is the difference between haze fluid and fog fluid?

Haze fluid produces a finer, longer-lasting mist that remains suspended in the air, used to make light beams visible. Fog fluid produces a thicker, denser effect that settles more quickly, used for dramatic ground-level fog effects. Haze machines and fog machines use different heating or cooling technologies, so the fluids are not interchangeable.
